Home education is working. Your children are happy. You’ve found your rhythm with the kids and can finally look up for the first time in ages.
But now you’re restless. The same courage that led you to take your children out of school is stirring again. Quiet ideas about what you want keep surfacing, things you’ve put off, projects you’ve imagined, parts of yourself you’ve missed.
You wake up feeling both excited and afraid. You notice the spark in your children as they follow their curiosity and think, what if I gave myself the same chance?
You’re questioning everything and for once, that’s a good thing.
You’ve tried the reading, the journaling, the podcasts, the supportive friends. But they’ve all focused on your children or the past.
No one has asked about you and what you need next.
You’re beginning to realise that the same principles that help your children thrive, curiosity, connection, courage, and trust, are the ones that will help you do the same.
You’re ready for something new, something that’s yours. It’s time to explore what’s possible when you stop following the “shoulds” and start following what lights you up.
You might be here because...
“You gave your children the freedom to learn in their own way. Now it’s your turn to live in yours.”
I get it because I’ve lived it.
In January 2020, I closed my award-winning business to home educate my children. Everyone thought I was mad. I did it anyway and honestly, these have been the hardest years of my life and also the best.
Since then, I’ve:
-
Created The Cardboard Shed
-
Co-authored a book
-
Started a teen home education group
-
Hosted weekend retreats for mothers
-
Been interviewed on podcasts
-
Retrained and launched this coaching practice
None of that happened because I had it all figured out. I didn’t wait for the right time. I didn’t wait for my children to be older. I didn’t choose between being present for them and pursuing what mattered to me.
I chose the messy path. The growth path. The "let’s see what I’m capable of" path.
I like to think I’ve shown my children what it looks like to follow your dreams, even when it feels uncertain.
What if you don’t have to wait either?
What if you can start thriving right now, alongside your children?
If this sounds like you, let’s start with a free 20-minute chat and see what kind of support might help you move forward.
I know what it's like

This isn't therapy. It's not a business coaching program. It's not home education advice.
This is about YOU finally including yourself in the circle of care and following your dreams.
What actually changes when we
work together
Before Coaching
-
You’ve made things work. Home ed, family, maybe even work, but deep down you know you’re just getting by.
-
You feel like you’re treading water instead of growing.
-
You bite your tongue to keep the peace, but it’s exhausting.
-
You want more freedom and fulfilment, but you don’t have the energy to go after it.
-
You find yourself wondering if it’s selfish to want more, or ungrateful when life’s “fine.”
-
You know you have so much to offer, but it feels safer not to act.
-
You crave deeper, more meaningful conversations and to feel more you again.
After Coaching
-
You feel anchored in yourself again, calmer inside and more alive too.
-
You trust your own timing and instincts instead of second-guessing them.
-
You’ve found the courage to speak up, take space, and follow what lights you up.
-
You have energy for your ideas and the confidence to start shaping them.
-
You’re experimenting, learning, and creating in ways that feel deeply you.
-
You’re beginning to shape what’s next in your own time and your own way.
“Thriving starts when you stop asking for permission and start following what lights you up.”
Coaching with me is a space to listen to yourself deeply and take action on what you find there.
You don’t need to have a clear goal or five-year plan. You just need the sense that something in you is ready for more.
Together we create room for you to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. From there, we uncover what’s next, whether you’re creating a project, exploring a business idea, reimagining your lifestyle, or simply learning to live in a way that feels right for you.
This isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about remembering who you are, building trust in your own instincts, and taking small, confident steps toward the life that fits you now.
